Hair or make-up or a combination of hair and make-up services can be booked.
Due to popular demand, I have a minimum of spend of £300 for wedding bookings. (Smaller bookings can be discussed for off-peak or Monday to Thursday weddings)
For larger bridal parties I can provide a second hair or make-up artist who I have worked with and trust.
To secure the wedding date a non-refundable deposit/ booking fee is required which is payable by bank transfer. A booking is not confirmed without a deposit.
The full balance will be payable one week prior to the wedding date.
The trial payment is due on the day of the trial.
Individual and strip lashes are included in the make-up service, there is no reduction in price if they are declined.
If you cancel your wedding and my services are no longer required, the deposit/booking fee will not be refunded.
If in the highly unlikely event that I may need to cancel my services due to reasons such as serious illness or bereavement etc, a refund would be given for services not carried out. I would also do my absolute best to provide a suitable replacement artist to carry out the services.
If you choose to postpone your wedding, I will do my best to accommodate your new date and would carry the deposit over to the new date.
If I am unavailable for the new date, the deposit from the original reserved date is non- refundable.
I am unable to hold open two dates because I would lose income on the date that would not be required.
If you postpone to the next year, the annual price increase would be payable.
Trials take place at my studio just outside of York.
They take place on a weekday or evening as I prioritise the weekends for wedding bookings.
Payment for the trial is payable on the day of the trial.
Bridal make-up or hair trials take a maximum of 2.5 hours. Hair and make-up trials take a maximum of 4.5 hours. Any extra time required will incur an additional cost or a second trial need to be booked.
Bridesmaid and mother of the bride trials are to be taken on the same day as the bridal trial.
If a second trial is required, the same fee applies as the first trial.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform me of any allergies, product sensitivities or medical conditions before the trial and wedding day. This includes bridesmaids and other members of the bridal party.
I am not liable for any conditions that arise if I have not been informed of any known conditions as stated above or any conditions unknown to the client at the time of service.
Travel expenses are incurred for services booked outside a 10 mile road distance from my York studio.
They are charged at a rate of 50p every mile outside a 10 mile road distance from the studio and are based on the return journey.
Distances are calculated using an online journey planner.
If required, alternate methods of transport, such as rail and flights can be discussed during booking.
For venues that require long periods of travel to and from the event, extra costs will be incurred and may require accommodation the night before. This can be discussed at time of booking.

Photographic/video images of the client will not be used on social media or on my website unless permission has been granted.
